Responsibilities:

Leading a team of several VS Manufacturing Engineers
Providing specific resources for the Industrialization of the new projects allocated to the VS according to WPCP process and procedures and in full SHEE-QUALITY-DELIVERY-COST-CASH compliance; Maintaining continuous VS communication on the project progress through Project DRM Board, escalating to the Launch Teams at Site level
Preparing the VS for Launches and leading all Launch Activities, ensuring proper layout, training of all functions and staffing in full alignment with the Value Stream Structure; Accountable for SHE Line Release, Internal R R for Technical Release strictly following the process of Launch Control Boards
Being accountable for the Technical Capability of the line during the product life Ensuring VS Operational Support for Manufacturing Capability, Continuous Improvements, CRP and CCP, strictly applying M&L standards
Ensuring appropriate people development plans: Training in ME Techniques, Tools & Processes, Six Sigma and Quality, Ergonomics, Financials

Requirements:

Minimum 7 years of Engineering and / or Manufacturing Experience in relevant mechanical industry like Automotive or other High Tech and Mass Production
Minimum 3 years of leadership experience of technical teams
Previous work experience in international business environment
Knowledge of Quality, Project Management and Lean Techniques
Bachelor Degree in Engineering
Strong manufacturing and process engineering knowledge
Strong communication, influencing and organizational skills, shop-floor focused
Strategic and Global thinker and Business Acumen
Team player comfortable with matrix organization
Strong project management as well as process management skills (Six Sigma Lean Green Belt and Lean mindset - Lean Practitioner recommended)
Strong Leadership able to identify and prioritize key objectives
Capacity to deal and negotiate in different levels of the organization
Result driven and continuous improvement approach
Fluent in English
