Delphi is one of the largest automotive suppliers delivering advanced electrical and electronic, powertrain and safety technologies to vehicle manufacturers around the world enabling them to make vehicles that are safer, greener and better connected.
To support our team located in Kraków we are currently looking for:

Main Duties and Responsibilities:



Manage the purchasing strategy for selected suppliers, executing sourcing and negotiation strategies
Create, issue and maintain frame contracts with the supplier base according DGSM policies and procedures
Consider Quality, Service (PC&L), Technology, Price and Timing of needed products
Monitors the quality of his supplier manufacturing sites and supports Supplier Development Group with problem suppliers.
Prepare bid lists and request for quotations (RFQ).
Reports results in the required format and makes proposals to Commodity Managers, Commodity Teams and to the Sourcing Committee.
Forecast and monitor supplier performance and assure the saving forecast are reflected in procurement systems.
Negotiate and close escalated cost recoveries.
Plan and lead sourcing activities for all projects.
Search for solutions on running production material procurement and delivery problems
Represent Delphi in defined responsibilities to supplier and third parties

Essential requirements:

Preferred at least a Bachelor degree in commercial or technical studies with a min 3 years practical experience
Very good negotiations skills
Fluent English language (spoken and written) - technical understanding, office standards
Good communication skills, proactivity, hands on, entrepreneurial spirit, leadership
Office programs knowledge
Ability to work with different cultures
Experience in automotive would be preferred
SAP knowledge is an advantage
