Our Client is one of European leisure carriers with international reach and a double digit growth. Due to polish branch expansion, we are currently looking for Base Station Manager.
Opis stanowiska / Job description:
Establish and keep up good relations with airport authorities, catering and other service companies
Supervise and co-operate with the Carriers handling agent
Check the availability and readiness of staff, equipment, supplies and services of handling agent to perform the ground handling services
Carefully manage the service during operational disruptions with the goal of maintaining high level of customer service
In case of major delay or cancellation, arrange required welfare, necessary surface transport, accommodation of passengers and crew and possible re-routing /re-booking of passengers;
Investigate and report to the Carrier any irregularity in handling of aircraft, passengers or baggage
Assist tracing of baggage and other lost and found articles. Follow up with relevant departments of handling agent and the Carrier
Promoting ancillary services and products to the passengers

Kogo szukamy / Profile description:
Higher education (aviation related studies would be an asset)
General knowledge of aviation industry and airport activities
Working experience at the ground handling or airline company would be an advantage
Fluent English
Creative insight into problem-solving
Ability to act independently and make accurate decisions under stressful situations
Exceptional organizational and communication skills
Ability to learn quickly
Availability to work on shifts
